Visit some of important site but also find out some secrets like why cannon ball is inside of cathedral wall, or why the narrowest street is bearing bats name and what is "Dead channel" and much more. See the best view over the bay from 13th century fortress.
After leaving largest Croatian port feel touch of Mediterranean just few kilometers away. I will help you discover how Croatian tourism was born in town of Opatija and what name of town actually means. As an history expert I will present you the unique character of the city which changed 6 countries just in last 100 years and developed its own identity. Find out how that happened!

Suggested itinerary:
1. ) We will see some of most famous sites:
- Theatre and city market
- the City Tower (symbol of the city) and Korzo - main promenade
- short stop in ancient city core
- St. Vitus Cathedral
- there are few unexpected places and details along the way
Then we will have short break where you have chance for tasting local liquors. Alternative is degustation of local products - wine, cheese, prosciutto and olive oil (not included).
- Then we will take a short ride to 13th century Trsat fortress. Best view of entire bay.
2. ) We will then drive from Trsat to Volosko, where we can take the trail by the sea leading us all the way to Opatija.
You will witness the transformation of Volosko, visit the most impressive mansions in Opatija, and enjoy a relaxing stroll by the sea.
3. ) Tour of Opatija - birthplace of Croatian tourism. Walk with short (photo) stops on interesting points like Maiden with the seagul, abbey, Angiolina mansion, etc.
