Experience the medieval side of the island of Krk and learn about the infancy of the Croatian language! There is no place where Croatian history is as vivid as on Krk. More than half of Glagolitic monuments have been created here, including the most valuable artifact of medieval Croatian – the Baška tablet.

We leave for Krk from Rijeka, from the Delta parking lot. We first visit Porat, an old hub of the Glagolitic and Franciscan orders. We then proceed to the tiny island of Košljun and its rich Franciscan monastery, its library, museum and churches. Our following destination is Jurandvor, where the Baška tablet, the most valuable monument of Croatian medieval times and the Croatian language, was found. Finally, we go to Baška, a town perfect for going to the beach, but also rich with culture, history, and delicious meal offers. After sightseeing and dinner, we return to Rijeka, based on the arrangements within the group.
