Day 1: Rome

After your arrival in Rome we will transfer you to the hotel. You will have some free time for rest or pursuing your own plans. Explore city on your own, go shopping, meet your hots, try some local food or drinks. Overnight stay.

* as facultative, at evening, we can arrange Cooking class. Italy is homeland of pizza, and for full experience of Italy you can´t miss chance of learn from domestic masters how to do world renown pizza. After class you will have chance to try fruits of your labor. Bottled water and beverages included.  – meeting point close to Piazza Navona

Day 2: Rome

Breakfast. Rome walking tour (3h) start by entering the Colosseum. With your guide, explore the first and second levels of this legendary amphitheatre, learning about gladiator games, proceed to political center of ancient Rome (The Forum). You will see Temple of Caesar, Arch of Septimius Severus, the colonnaded Regia, the Gemonian stairs and the Temple of Vespasian and Titus. From here continue to Rome’s historic center (centro storico) to see well-known attractions like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Free evening and overnihght stay.

Day 3: Rome – (Vatican) - Naples

Breakfast. Free time for rest or pursuing your own plans. Explore city on your own, go shopping, meet your hots, try some local food or drinks.

* Optional morning: Entrance to the Vatican is outside city center so you will probably want to take a ride to the entrance. There you will meet your guide. Vatican tour. See the best of the Vatican Museums – from the Sistine Chapel to the Raphael Rooms and the Belvedere Courtyard. Then explore St. Peter’s Basilica with Michelangelo’s Pietà and Bernini’s baldachin. (3,5 h). Avoid lines that often stretch for hours with skip the line access. Not available on Sunday

Around 2 p.m. catch your train to Naples. Arrival, sign into the hotel and free evening. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Naples and Pompeii

Breakfast. Pick-up in hotel and sightseeing of about 2 hours with a small group tour led by a professional guide and operated with little minibuses. First stop at the cathedral to visit its treasure chapel and S.Restituta basilica. Drive to the town Hall square where’s the New Castle built by French family of Anjou and go on to Posillipo area and stop on S.Antonio church terrace to get the best view of the city and the bay. Return into the city center in Plebiscite square to see the front of the Royal Palace, the beautiful church of St.Francesco di Paola in its neoclassic style, Umberto I gallery and San Carlo theatre.

Drive to Pompeii where the tour guide will show the most fascinating places like The Forum, Thermal Baths, Vetti’s house and “Lupanare” burnt by volcanic ashes and lapilli during the eruption in 79 A.D. Return to Naples and drop off at the hotel at around 1:30 p.m.

Day 5: Naples

Breakfast. Free time for rest or pursuing your own plans. Explore city on your own, go shopping, meet your hots, try some local food or drinks.

* Optional: Hike to the top of Mt Vesuvius on this half-day trip from Naples. Led by an expert guide, venture to the summit of the volcano (entrance 10 € on spot) made infamous by its eruption in 79 AD, leaving the city of Pompeii destroyed. As you journey upward, hear the history behind this natural wonder. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Bay of Naples and a pizza lunch before heading back to your original departure point.

Private transfer from hotel to port at evening. At 20:00 depart your ship to Sicily (Palermo). Overnight stay on ship in cabin.

Day 6: Palermo

After check in you will have time for rest and leisure. See the highlights of Palermo with a hop-on hop-off bus tour, exploring at your own pace. Get a view of the city’s top attractions from the top of a double-decker bus, including sights like the Quattro Canti, Vucciria Market and the Teatro Massimo – one of Italy's most famous opera houses. Enjoy audio commentary during the tour.

On Sundays and Monday walking tour (4h) is possible instead of Hop on hop off tour.

Overnight stay.

Day 7: Sicily experience

Breakfast. Daily tours depending on day in a week:

Monday & Wednesday: Corleone Mafia and Ficuzza

Corleone, a small village near Palermo famous for being a city of the mafia and the birthplace of Toto' Riina. Visit the village of Ficuzza, a stunning location and Natural Reserve, with its famous forest, its paths and its country walks. In Corleone you will visit the very interesting mafia museum with the multilingual guide, then visit the antimafia which is situated in an ancient monastery. Hotel pickup and drop off.

Tuesday & Saturday: Erice & Segesta

Day excursion to Erice and Segesta from Palermo. Delight in the medieval majesty of Erice, a walled town that reigns over the picturesque harbor of Trapani, and pleasure your palate with a traditional Sicilian lunch after visiting an olive oil producer. Delve into historical wonders of Segesta during time at an archeological site, marveling at the unfinished temple and absorbing sweeping vistas of Sicily’s sun-drenched valleys and undulating hills. You will see Greek ruins, tase some local wine and enjo in air-conditioned vehicle.

Thursday & Sunday: Agrigento and Temple Valley

Full-day excursion to Agrigento, home to one of Sicily’s most captivating archeological sites. With a knowledgeable guide, delve into the ancient wonders of the Greek empire at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Valley of the Temples, an enclave that boasts an impressive selection of Greek ruins. Marvel at the exquisite Temple of Concord, one of the Mediterranean’s best preserved structures, and enrich your historical knowledge at the Archeological Museum of Agrigento (entrance fees are not included – around 14 €). Return to Palermo and overnight stay

Day 8: Palermo

Breakfast. Free day for leisure or exploration of the city until returning flight. Transfer from city to the airport.

Day 8: Palermo – Catania

Breakfast. At appointed time transfer to train station and catch your train to Naples. Arrival, sign into the hotel and free day. Free time for rest or pursuing your own plans. Explore city on your own, go shopping, meet your hots, try some local food or drinks.

Day 9: Catania – Syracuse & Noto

Breakfast. Delve into ancient Roman and Greek history with a visit to both Neapolis Archaeological Park and Ortygia Island in Sicily's Syracuse. Neapolis is home to some of Syracuse's most notable ruins, including a massive Greek amphitheater that is still used for performances during summer months. Marvel at age-old quarries and a Roman amphitheater where gladiators fought each other to the death. Afterward, head over to Ortygia Island―a small island that serves as Syracuse's historic center―and nearby Noto, a stunning town filled with exquisite, photo-worthy Baroque architecture. Return and overnight stay.

Day 10: Catania

Breakfast. Free day for leisure or exploration of the city until returning flight. Transfer from city to the airport.

* Option of morning tour to volcano Etna. Largest active volcano in Europe and local delicacies such as wine, honey, and olive oil (70 € per per person). Tour will finish around 14:30
